Painful conjecturing
I do not know if God intervened to protect Donald Trump, and neither do you. What I do know is that such conjectures can quickly become very twisted and hurtful.
Where was God in 1963? Was he just not much of a JFK fan? Where was he in 1987 when my sweet, gentle husband decided to use a gun to end his life, which resulted in little girls growing up fatherless? Where is he when so many children are dying of starvation in Gaza or suffering through procedures at St. Jude Children's Hospital?
You can draw your own conclusions, but I for one find it very difficult to imagine that the Heavenly Father chooses to protect a vile human being and disdains to help the innocent.
