Could Tommy Foltz be more out of touch? He doesn't understand why voters are angry and frustrated. I suppose it would be easy to be content with the state of things if you were an upper-middle-class professional with a comfortable life in central Arkansas (which fewer and fewer are able to afford). Perhaps he should get out of the cozy boardrooms he's used to and go to some of the forgotten and left-behind places in this state and actually ask the angry and frustrated.
But he can't just ask, he actually has to put away his tut-tutting, well-actually lectures about inflation and listen to them if he wants to understand.

As a longtime subscriber to the Sunday Democrat-Gazette, I have a suggestion: Cut the columns of Rex Nelson and Mike Masterson in half and add more letters to the editor, which I find much more interesting.
