I have read a couple of negative comments in letters to the editor about Mike Masterson's column. I just wanted to say that I look forward to reading his comments. In my humble opinion, he does a great job despite having some pretty difficult health issues. I go straight to the opinion pages to read his columns because they are always good.

The whole Republican Party has lined up behind Donald Trump's lies whether the members actually believe them or not. That leaves me wondering if any members of the extreme MAGA party of Trump are capable of serving the American people in an honest manner. Actually believing the lies suggests ignorance.
