Sen. Tom Cotton claims that Donald Trump was joking when he told an audience of alleged Christians, "In four years, you don't have to vote again. We'll have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote."
I suppose Trump was also joking when he said that our soldiers who died in battle were "losers" and "suckers"; that immigrants are "poisoning the blood of our country"; that a free press is "truly the enemy of the people"; or when he tried to extort the president of Ukraine to dig up dirt on Joe Biden; or urged Georgia's secretary of state to "find 11,780 votes" that didn't exist; or told his followers to march down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol and "fight like hell."
