Friends, volunteers and staff of Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas celebrated the organization's 35th birthday with a party at a house under construction in Little Rock.
The party was held July 11 at a house nearing completion on Pinewood Drive. Guests were encouraged to tour the home and partake in late afternoon drinks and snacks.
Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas was founded in 1989. Over that time the organization has built and rehabilitated more than 250 houses in Central Arkansas, and built and financed more than 30 houses overseas.
