Little Rock sales-tax increase proposal approved for November ballot

Residents of Little Rock will be able to vote on a referendum regarding Mayor Frank Scott Jr.’s 1% sales-tax increase in November after the city’s Board of Directors passed a resolution and four ordinances Tuesday aimed at placing the proposal on the ballot under emergency measures.
