The University of Central Arkansas opened its final regular season series with a dominant win over Bellarmine on Friday at Natalie Shock Stadium in Conway.
UCA (24-25, 15-7 ASUN) jumped out early thanks to an RBI triple from Tremere Harris to score Kylie Griffin and an RBI groundout from Lilly Hood to score Harris, giving the Bears a 2-0 lead.
The Bears added a run in the second inning on a fielder's choice to go up 3-0.
In the fourth inning, Kennedy Fisher singled through the left side to score Gracie St. Hilaire and make it 4-0.
Morgan Nelson padded the lead in the fifth inning, when she singled up the middle to score two and make it 6-0.
