CONWAY -- If you ask his coaches, Malachi Henry is a completely different person today than the freshman who walked onto campus a year ago.
Henry and the University of Central Arkansas football team hit the field Thursday for their first practice this fall. With a redshirt year under his belt and plenty of opportunity in front of him, Henry is set to be the Bears' youngest starter when they kick off later this month.
Due to a combination of transfers and graduations, UCA, the United Athletic Conference preseason favorite, must replace its top four receiving options from a year ago. Only two players (running back ShunDerrick Powell and wide receiver Kam Robinson) return with more than 100 yards from last season.
