A Pink Blueberry

I recently posted a picture of my Pink Lemonade blueberries on Facebook,

and everyone went wild wanting to know more about them.  They aren't that new (I think I have had my plant for about 6 years) but they are not well-known.  But if you want an easy fruit crop, consider planting a blueberry--and maybe a pink one at that.

Gardeners often want to plant fruit crops in  their home gardens, but then diseases or insects hit, and they lose interest.  Blueberry plants are one of the easiest of the fruit crops to grow, and they fit in as an ornamental—keep in mind, they are related to azaleas.  They have pretty flowers

 One of my favorite blueberries to grow is ‘Pink Lemonade’ with beautiful hot pink fruits.
