121 travelers, mainly from Arkansas, took over the AMA Kristina river boat
last week to cruise down the Rhone River in France. 50 went early and spent 3 nights in Paris,
and 40 added an additional 3 nights in Nice at the end,
while 24 went on to 3 nights in Barcelona.
We had Arkansans covering the planet both coming and going from home to Europe.
We saw some beautiful sites along the river,
made new friends, and reconnected with old ones,
explored gardens,
cathedrals,
ancient ruins,
old towns
and new towns,
wineries,
olive oil farms,
went truffle hunting,
did walking food tours,
and ghost tours,
city tours,
and country tours. We rode on trains,
planes and buses, and averaged between 3-6 miles every day, walking up countless staircases,
and hills. While we did have sunny days,
we also had some rain.
It seems rainy weather is more common across the globe right now.
