A North Little Rock woman was arrested Saturday night after, police said, she struck another woman with her vehicle and then physically assaulted the woman in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Tonia Adreanna Hunt, 26, was arrested outside of her apartment complex at 7:38 p.m. Saturday. She faces one felony second-degree battery charge and two felony aggravated assault charges, according to a North Little Rock police arrest report.
Officers were dispatched to the Protho Manor Apartments, 1909 Arkansas 161, in response to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers observed Hunt's vehicle parked in the grass between the apartment complex's "D" and "E" buildings, but the report states that Hunt was "nowhere to be found."
According to the report, officers made contact with the victim, who they said was "covered in dirt, had scrapes all over her body, especially a large road rash on her face, and her hair was all messed up."
