Colorful art lined the walls and the stage was set for musical performances on July 13 at the annual Discover Trust Tree held at the Museum of Discovery. The event was a fundraiser for Trust Tree, a nonprofit summer camp that uses music and art to empower girls and LGBTQ youth.
Guests enjoyed pizza, hors d'oeuvres, the chance to interact with the museum's exhibits and viewed artwork including a quilt created by campers and textile artist C.C. Mercer Watson. A highlight of the evening was performances by Trust Tree campers.
Money raised at the event goes toward Trust Tree's programs, providing scholarships and instruments for young artists.
