Searcy is awarded grant for greenway

An upcoming water park will be built next to the Searcy Swim Center at the corner of Recreation Way and East Booth Road. In March, Searcy voters approved two bond measures that funds the park and other infrastructure improvements totaling $93 million. The city of Searcy also has plans to construct a state-of-the-art community center and make improvements to Riverside Park and Berryhill Park, as well as upgrade portions of the city's 5.5-mile multi-use trail.
