Too soon to change
It was a joy to read about the success of Alison Cunningham's daughter Eliza in private school. I too have ADHD; however, when I was a child (1960s), ADHD was not known. I understand the struggles that ADHD students experience.
The LEARNS Act is not perfect (as is true with most legislation). We need to give it a few years, then evaluate the successes and failures. Once the evaluation is complete, the Legislature can (with input from all stakeholders) enact appropriate changes. It is simply too soon to make major changes in such a comprehensive law.
