In response to Richard Hickman's letter to the editor on Tuesday, he states, "vitriolic language may play a part in the divisiveness we're experiencing in our country." He asks that Gwen Faulkenberry and other opinion staff "carefully choose different descriptions of persons not following their political and religious persuasion."

I'm so disillusioned by the incompetency of the Secret Service. If a 20-year-old kid that apparently has no training and couldn't even qualify for his high school rifle team can come within a hair's breadth of assassinating Donald Trump, imagine what a trained sniper could do.
