FAYETTEVILLE -- Second-year University of Arkansas strength and conditioning coach Ben Sowders is so stoked about the state of the Razorbacks that he's sure success is on the way after a 4-8 season.
Coach Sam Pittman said he challenged Sowders and his staff to create the toughest summer conditioning program he could imagine and push the Razorbacks through it.
Sowders talked about the tough love he and the staff tried to administer.
"I'll tell you the biggest thing is, I've tried to love on them more, to be honest," Sowders said. "It's an honor to serve these guys. You spend so much time on them and we're also focused about wins and losses, but we don't realize what it takes to actually get it.
