6,000 more applicants approved for Arkansas school vouchers; total for 2024-25 now 11,500

Just over 7,000 new student applications for the state's Educational Freedom Accounts program, a publicly funded private school voucher system, have been submitted for the 2024-25 school year, and at least 6,000 have so far been approved, state education leaders said Thursday.
