While one-third of the Arkansas Razorbacks' football games will be played at 11 a.m. or noon this season, it did not come as a surprise.
ABC and ESPN dictate start times, not the SEC, and what the networks want is ratings, which equate into revenue.
The Razorbacks are coming off a forgettable 4-8 season, going 1-7 in the SEC, and that does not scream huge TV audiences.
Of the Hogs' four early games, three are in SEC play as the game at Oklahoma State was set before the bulk of the schedule was released.
If anyone should be concerned about being slighted, it is probably South Carolina, which has four SEC games leading off a football Saturday.
The Gamecocks were 5-7 and 3-5 in conference last season.
