Discussion of the pros and cons of Name, Image and Likeness in college athletics will likely continue for years, but for University of Arkansas freshman defensive end Kavion Henderson, it's positive.
Henderson, 6-2, 265 pounds, of Leeds, Ala., was raised by his grandmother Rhonda Henderson and late grandfather Clifford Henderson since he was six months old.
He has stated many times of his goal to reach the NFL so he can take care of his grandmother and repay her for his upbringing.
"I talk to my grandmother six to eight times a day," Henderson said. "I know what I have to do and be successful in life, so I wanted to get away from home.
