Three-star offensive lineman Lionel Prudhomme committed to Arkansas football Friday afternoon.
Prudhomme said his relationship with Arkansas coach Sam Pittman and offensive line coach Eric Mateos was a big reason for his pledge.
“I had a great time hanging out with Coach Pitt and Coach Mateos,” said Prudhomme of his June 7-9 official visit to Fayetteville. “They talked to me a lot about how much of a priority I am and how much they want me.”
Prudhomme, 6-3 and 290 pounds, of Shreveport (La.) Captain Shreve, chose the Razorbacks over offers from Ole Miss, Missouri, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, Arizona State, Houston, Tulsa and others.
He received an offer from Mateos on Jan. 24 and eventually made an unofficial visit to Arkansas in March.
