FAYETTEVILLE -- To hear the hype from University of Arkansas football Coach Sam Pittman and strength and conditioning coach Ben Sowders on Tuesday, it sounded like the Razorbacks football team will be akin to the Six Million Dollar Man this fall: Bigger, faster, stronger.
"The strongest team we've had by far," said Pittman, who is entering his fifth season as the Razorbacks' coach. "Leanest team we've had by far. And I just really like ... the camaraderie, the togetherness of the team. They're fun to be around."
Sowders and his staff put the Razorbacks through what he and Pittman described as the toughest summer yet in preparation for training camp. The Razorbacks, coming off a 4-8 season, will go through 25 practices over the course of 29 days starting Wednesday at 5 p.m.
