JoAnne Reynolds Grogan

JoAnne Reynolds Grogan, 94, of Kansas City, passed away on July 25, 2024. She was born Aug. 21, 1929, to the late Thomas James Reynolds and Teresa Ann Reynolds. JoAnne graduated from Mabelvale High School in Mabelvale, Ark. in 1946, and married the love of her life, Coy, on Jan. 28, 1950. Together they raised three children. JoAnne enjoyed her family, church, gardening, and a long career as a medical transcriptionist. JoAnne made homes for her family around the country as her husband followed his career as manager of operations for the Rock Island railroad. JoAnne was a life-long crossword puzzle enthusiast tackling the Sunday New York Times puzzle with ease. She loved the arts, particularly French Impressionist painting. She also had a passion for reading which she instilled in her children from an early age.
