The first arrest of an ambulance driver responding to an emergency call exceeding the 20 mile per hour speed limit was made. The driver was responding to an emergency call from White City and according to the officer, was driving on Prespect Avenue at a rate between 40 and 55 miles per hour.

It is a phenomenal fact that fashion goes in cycles. Nowhere is this more evident than in the First Ladies Gown Room of the Arkansas First State Capitol, more commonly known as the Old State House. Here on display are the gowns that the First Ladies of Arkansas wore to inaugural balls or to inaugural-connected events. A favorite of tourists, the exhibit was originally set up in 1955.
