Within a very short time, Oklahoma will lift the quarantine recently placed against Arkansas livestock because of the anthrax infection in this state, ... Dr. E. V. Robinett, Oklahoma state veterinarian, declared last night after a two-days inspection trip with Dr. J. H. Bux, Arkansas state veterinarian, in sections of Jefferson and Arkansas counties, where the latest outbreaks have been reported. "Conditions in Arkansas are much better than I expected," Dr. Robinett said. "Oklahomans have been given the impression that practically the entire state is affected, whereas I find that only a small area has been touched by anthrax."
